His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan strongly condemned the horrible offence that hit Ersal village and the Security Forces spread in it on Saturday.

As he addressed his condolences to the Army Leadership and to its martyrs’ families and wished the wounded of civilians and militaries the immediate recovery, his Eminence asserted that the Lebanese will always remain apart from dissensions between them, their national army and the Interior Security Forces, mentioning that the support of Ersal’s inhabitants to the military staff to defend the Security Forces Police Station is a good sign of total harmony between the civilians and the Interior and Military Institutions in the face of extremism, terrorism and law contraveners. Thus, it is the right time to fight those whoever they were and prevent them from transferring the conflicts and bloodshed taking place in the region to Lebanon.

His Eminence the Sheikh praised the honorable inhabitants of Ersal for their stand that reflects their national belonging and he called all the political forces to provide the Military Institution and the Security Forces with all the support to violently fight whoever offends the State’s dignity and dares to violate civil peace.
