His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan condemned the Israeli aggressive hostility against the Palestinian people in Gaza as well as on the other occupied lands, asserting that the Palestinians’ blood and Palestine’s issue should constitute a humanitarian Arab and International responsibility. He emphasized that this issue is the most important in the Middle East and not finding a final solution for it has led and will lead to more complications for different Arab issues and crises in the region.

His Eminence called for an official clear and urgent Lebanese position that pushes the International Security Council and the different International parties toward an Arab move and aims at immediately ceasing hostility, condemning in a related field the Israeli bombs that hit the South of Lebanon after the suspected rockets, for the excessive violation it constitutes for Lebanon’s sovereignty and the offence of its lands.

As his Eminence the Sheikh saluted the resistance of Palestine’s sons and the souls of the martyrs of fighters, children, women and Sheikhs, he incited the different authorities and the Palestinian forces to hasten for putting an end to the division situation, pursue the steps of interior union and fortify harmony in order to serve their rightful issue, protect their land and remain in it, in a way that makes the plans of the aggressive enemy and its repetitive oppressive and dominating policies fail.
