Beirut, on January 2, 2014 

His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan strongly condemned the terrorist bombing that targeted Haret Hreik region, mentioning that what happened indubitably proves that the occurring security chaos hits all the Lebanese people with no exception. He also certified that the security chaos in the light of the current political disorder makes the country’s peace exposed to risks and threatens to deteriorate the State’s structure and Institutions.

His Eminence called all the political forces to stop exchanging accusations and put an end to the deep rivalries, then manage to immediately unite in order to constitute a consensual government that gets the country back to its security and protects it from the fire of dissension and terrorism. The Sheikh Hassan addressed his condolences to the victims that fell wishing the immediate recovery to all the injured.
