In the Name of God the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

Praise and Thanks be to God Lord of Mankind, Prayers and Peace be upon the Master of Messengers, His Family and His Companions, until the Day of Recompense

The month was blessed through a message that was delivered to the nations and through the Noble Koran where His Almighty said: {Verily, this is the Word that separates (the truth from the falsehood) it is not a thing for amusement} (At-Târiq 13-14). Imposing the fasting aims just at training the soul in order to lead it towards the core of the significance and making it fully obedient to what God His Almighty wanted for the entire humanity of a blessed rise from the bottom of the instinct and the pre-Islamic fanaticism towards the hills of the mind, the elevations of the vision and the rise of the reason in order to achieve all that the servant could reach of human perfection, noble virtue and essential goodness imitating the divine grace that we should never get away from – God Forbid.

Here we are, making our farewells to the Holy Month as an elapsed moment in the course of history, but we should not make our farewells to what we have collected of tasty fruits from the garden of truth, and these fruits are the soul’s age, which means under the divine wing where we should be sincere, honest, penitent and sticking to the truth as we stick to life’s breeze without which there is no hope nor salvation.

The truth consists in the obedience to the divine will, not according to what we find convenient to our interests and desires, but according to the significance of goodness residing in the divine message in the large tree of the Great Islam based on orders and prohibitions, which means the good ethics, noble virtues and blessed qualities on one hand, because these are the mirrors through which the images of the divine truth are reflected, and thus, humans seek them with hardship to meet them with passion, charity, surrender and forgiveness seeking, as His Almighty said: {O man! Verily, you are returning towards your Lord with your deeds and actions, a sure returning, and you will meet} (Al-Inshiqaq 6), and on the other hand, escaping all the contraventions, suspicions, rebellions and sins, as well as being involved into dissensions and bad actions distorting the image of life that God wanted to be illuminated with His obedience.

The benediction of Ramadan is life’s benediction. The life of the Unitarian Muslim does not reside only in his soul, but in his civil and social situation, and even national situation. This rise we are carried to by the benediction of worship certainly influences our attitude, at both the ethical and behavioral levels and also in public and in private as well. If the Unitarian Muslim does not rise in a way that makes him become a human pattern among the community, therefore, the sincere significances that should be the fruit of salvation and the abidance of significance would have surpassed him. For this reason, we call all of you to be vigilant and aware of the most right and sincere path to follow and which is better than all the possessions and belongings on this earth, which means modesty, sacrifice, seeking good actions and generosity before rushing to the rough path for selfish interests, corporal desires and psychological tendencies such as predomination, overpower and arrogance.

This country is nothing but what we really are. All that we collect is only the result of our actions and attitude. Humans do not need a penetrative vision to make sure that our country has become above the cliff of the abyss. How couldn’t it be this way and most the governing institutions are almost paralyzed and have turned out to be fields for conflicts and divisions to paralyze and suspend the situation, instead of being a means for the implementation of justice and good actions for people. The governors have acted very well by surpassing the gap in the Army Leadership where we can see the flame lighted with the sacrifice and the determination to comply with the call of duty in spite of all the obstacles.

At this Holy Feast, we ask God His Almighty to grant us in the coming days more opportunities that enable us to save our countries from the hole of crisis towards the widest spaces of solutions and that the concerned governors and politicians come to reach common factors that produce a national government which presence has become essential to refresh the nation’s core. It is necessary to get out of the cycle of conditions and contradictory conditions that hinder its birth until date and highly makes use of the political and national life, in order to prevent more gaps in the State’s Institutions. It is also essential to go forward – not to say get back – to dialogue, with a full and firm sense of historical responsibility. In fact, the dialogue to which the President of the Republic has called for from his national position represents the fundamental driving part of the ship that is currently exposed to the violent storms in the high seas. Let us not make out of every position based on real basics a reason to provoke unfruitful conflicts. Let us all bravely go forward to admit the realities and deal with them without any previous judgments to betray or revoke the others.

We charge all the Christian and Muslim politicians with the responsibility before history and before God as well regarding the necessity of agreeing upon the principles of the country’s stability and civil peace, revealing every security devastator, preserving institutions and preventing any gap or paralysis and prevent the current paralysis. The nation is calling its great citizens today, those who will never be erased by time. God does not revoke benefactors, He Who is the caretaker.

As for the situation of the Arab countries, where are they today from the call of Mustafa to the harmony and union of hearts? In fact, the Palestinians are divided, they reject the conciliation agreement and settlements are expanding and increasing, Egypt is drown in a horrible trouble and their leaders are charged with a heavy responsibility to prevent chaos; Syria is still drowning in the blood and fights volcano. There are no signs that mark the end of the suffering of this Arab population and there is no power nor but in God the High ad the Great.

At this occasion, we address to the Arab and Islamic Nations our cordial and deep wishes and hopes to see their leaders determined to the path of absolute goodness, asking God His Almighty to bless this occasion for our nation and our brothers with peace and happiness. He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer. Happy Fitr to all.
