His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan condemned in his declaration today “the launching of the suspicious rockets towards the regions of Yarze and Fiadyeh at this specific timing coinciding with the Lebanese Army Day and following the important speech of his Excellency the President of Republic, the General Michel Suleiman”, calling for “the revelation of the perpetrators intending to violate the country’s security, and the imposition of the severest sanctions in order to preserve the national union as well as the security of all the Lebanese citizens”.

His Eminence emphasized the fact that “repeating such incidents should be an exceptional stimulator to all the political forces so that they present mutual cessions for the nation’s interest, civil peace and stability”, calling to “solve all the issues that hinder the progress of political life in these serious circumstances and with the vital challenges that Lebanon is facing”.
