His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan condemned the attack that was caused to Saint Maroun Church in Abey, calling to reveal the perpetrators and transfer them to the judicial authorities, emphasizing “the necessity of consolidating coexistence in the Jabal region, rejecting all the aspects of its violation and preventing the devastators in this concern morally and procedurally by all means”. 

His Eminence also condemned the attacks that some clergymen in Bekaa and Saida went through, underlining “the necessity of being aware and vigilant to such incidents which perpetrators are intending to drag the country into dissension and fighting”, warning about “the continuance of the repetitive quarrels in Tripoli without a final solution destined to support the State and its institutions as well, in particular the army and security forces”.
