His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan condemned at the commemoration of Palestine’s catastrophe (The Nakba) the continuance of the Israeli enemy’s non-stop attacks against the Palestinians and the sites as well as the Islamic and Christian hallows in the occupied land in the light of the international continuous and shameful disregard from these dangerous violations that have started sixty five years ago, the most recent of which the arrestment of the Mufti of the Palestinian monk and the approval of the construction of hundreds of new settlement units.
His Eminence emphasized the necessity that the Palestinians take the initiative, in return for these hostile practices, to fortify their union, first of all by putting an end to the division that lasted for long and thus consumed the Palestinian people’s capacities. The Sheikh Hassan also urged the Arab society to move on to effective action at all levels before the remaining hopes of the establishment of the State of Palestine and its Capital the Holy Palestine vanish.
