His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan congratulated the Christian confessions adopting the Eastern calendar at the occasion of the holy Easter Feast, hoping that the coming days witness positive initiatives by the government constitution in Lebanon and the achievement of the electoral affairs on time.

His Eminence also wished that this occasion carries good news of peace and goodness to our Arab region that was weighed down by conflicts and problems of all sides, calling in this concern to immediately release the two Archbishops Boulos El Yaziji and Youhanna Ibrahim who were kidnapped in Syria and to stop the fights, displacement and destructions in this country, in a way that realizes the aspirations of the Syrian people for a safe democratic future.

His Eminence condemned the Israeli raids on Syria and that constitute a flagrant violation to its sovereignty. He also disapproved the non-stop violation of the Israeli enemy for the Lebanese atmosphere, calling the international community to prevent such hostile practices.
