In the Name of God the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

Praise and Thanks be to God Lord of Mankind, Prayers and Peace be upon the Master of Messengers, His Family and His Companions, until the Day of Recompense

The wisdom of the Prophet’s first companions consisted in their consent to make the prophetic Hegira a reliable base for history, it is the Hegira that was a blessed symbol for the liberation of the Muslims from the oppression of those tyrannical obstinate to the old history, toward the wide spaces of human freedom at the lighted place that has witnessed the birth of Islam as a State governed by justice, truth and equality between all humans.  

Complying with the significance of this blessed occasion should not be limited to the recall of the great ancestors’ news and that unique civilization by its roots that they had offered to humanity by the grace of God His Almighty through His light and guidance to them, calling for penitence, courtesy and tolerance between humans on the basis of goodness and abstention from all that may nourish vices and hostility in the soul, but Unitarian believers firmly sticking to the facts of the Koran’s noble significance, should celebrate like the sincere and honest people with that His Almighty has granted them of grace and fidelity guidance that drives them toward goodness, impartiality and virtuousness so that they deserve to be (the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind). The noble verse has certified the essence and the core of that goodness, which is (enjoining Al-Ma’ruf and forbidding Al-Munkar). Al-Ma’ruf consists in all that satisfies God His Almighty, while Al-Munkar is all that angers Him.  

Nowadays, we do not feel the need to be illuminated by the purposes of the truth in order to get to eradicate from our souls the feelings of terrible anger and the tendency to obstinacy and vicious predomination. The ethics of Islam refuse the disobedient soul and do not settle their virtuousness and blessings unless within the obedient soul illuminated by the verses of God. These are noble Verses from which the believer does not get enough only by repeating them and observing their letters, but the purpose consists in sticking to their significances so that his soul is filled with the flow of their virtues and constitutes a practical path and a sincere commitment expressed through his feelings and his relations with others with no lies nor distrust.  

The reform of humans in Islam is nothing but the reform of society in any way, and thus, the reform and prosperity of the nation. The opposite is true as well with all its repercussions. Could it be that we are being spoiled by the seeking of authority, the attraction of wealth acquisition without caring about its origin and the struggle for the instincts of the body and the obstinate soul? Could that secret which was the good for our nation spoil us? The sincere believer does not accept this horrible deterioration and his blaming soul refuses to fall in vice without feelings and repentance to reform. Let us stand consciously at this great occasion for penitence and consideration. Every vicious policy for the soul will only come up with a vicious policy, and thus, a vicious nation where the citizen feels unstable with a disturbed soul.  

Our country is standing on a steep rock and every politician and citizen realizes this fact. If political interests require bets regardless of their harmful consequences on people, then our spiritual and ethical obligation consists in reminding that no issue shall be considered as fair if its adherents have abandoned the values of justice, goodness and the binding human obligation as well. We would like to carry the faithfulness of the speech in conformity with the requirement and obligation of conscience, virtue and sense of responsibility. Our country requires the necessity of taking action with serious efforts and fidelity. Taking the initiative not to reveal the dialogue image, but to enter into the core of the pending problems with the intention to agree upon what is meant to spread the message of tranquility to all the Lebanese. If it is true that the circumstances of this period are exposing our nation to serious risks, then why are some people looking for flammable vices that risk to stimulate the reasons of the offensive dissension?  

We reiterate what we have always called for regarding the necessity of striving in order to maintain the principles of national union. In fact, challenges are serious and various. We regret what we are witnessing of divisions, violent speech and agitations everywhere. Based on our obligation and responsibilities, we would like to draw your attention to the danger of the stage we have reached and that is warning about serious consequences for all the elements of this nation. In fact, preserving the mechanisms of the activation of the Constitutional Institutions requires that we all gather around the table of a serious and fruitful dialogue that gives back the assigned role to the institutions, anchors the pillars of the State, at their top security and stability and gives the Army and the Security Forces the full authority in this concern. In addition, if the solution consists in the constitution of a new government, then let it be based on understanding and solidarity, with no power to any party upon the other, especially that what is taking place around us should prohibit us from committing any mistake.  

We call God His Almighty to inspire us with all the goodness to our country and nation. We ask Him to lift all the calamities off our brothers in Palestine and Syria and to consolidate our hearts in the facts of belief to satisfy Him and ask for His forgiveness.
