In the Name of Allah the most Gracious the Most Merciful

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds, peace and blessings of Allah upon the Master of Messengers and who follows them to the Holy day

To all my dear sons and brothers in the United States,

I address my greetings and my salutation to all of you, wishing you happiness, good luck, success in your activities and health to you and to all your family members.

I salute your efforts and those of your ascendants, as well as your perseverance that made this annual meeting possible. I hope this activity would be fruitful and bring all the happiness to our dearest parents wherever they are.

My dears:  I would like to tell you honestly about our conviction that we owe our brothers in the foreign countries in different affairs. We should continuously search for ways with you to consolidate the relation between us, I mean between the sons of the Community in foreign countries and the native country, by developing its efficiency in different fields. This is our target at the Sheikhdom Akl and the Confessional Council of the Druze Unitarian Community. The achievements of the Emigration Committee by the holding of the first emigration conference in Lebanon were nothing but the first step, hoping that the elaborated recommendations are well adopted and followed by all of us. Our will never weakens in this concern by the will of God.

My dear brothers and sons:  Yes, we suffer in the East from a default in the mechanisms of the modern rebirth. We are conscious of it and its impact on our common concept concerning all our issues, but we preserve in our heart, mind and soul, the noblest and the most civilized concepts given by the significance of being Unitarian. What I mean here is not being limited to the religious commitment, but I mean the big cultural significances, the major humanitarian values and the noble virtues implanted in the souls of the sincere people of Bani Maarouf, and which are meant to represent the good example to our families and to our young boys and girls, as well as the strong support to the souls and minds at this difficult time where almost everything slips toward futility, insouciance and chaos.

My dears, be sure in this frame that we don't distinguish the residents from anyone among you, this means that our responsibility consists in looking for what should strengthen the knowledge, closeness and harmony between all the Unitarians, not based on religious fanaticism, but on the fortified basis of the noble humanitarian significance. The Unitarians possess in each civilization a symbol and worthy principles. We strongly believe that the Unitarian culture is a global humanitarian space provided that we rise by our means, intentions and knowledge to the acceptable degree of its highest level. We certify that the Unitarian is able to be a Unitarian everywhere. We reiterate that God the Almighty is the helper to whom we address and the savior on whom we rely, since He is present everywhere and anytime. He is fair, knowing and present, not hindering any success, but the main problem of bad luck resides in the man himself because if the man rids his soul from defects and purifies it from all ugliness by counting on Him, He will help him, guide him and take care of him since God is present everywhere.

My dears, let our will be convinced that no obstacle could hinder the move toward rebirth. Let us search for every opportunity that unites us by hope, which is by every positive step that is meant to fortify the efficiency and continuity of the meeting. I know that your agenda is full of activities, but the vision that plans for the future is characterized by its goals and ambitions, in particular by the efforts of the sincere people for the sake of the Unitarian culture, toward the inspirations of the future generations.

I wish you all the success in your conference and more inspiring ideas in your steps as well as efficient enthusiasm. We are looking forward to overcome all the obstacles by wisdom and firmness, toward more fruitful cooperation and productive participation. It is by such good intentions that we all find the path of success and happiness, hoping to meet again, goodbye.
