Declaration of his Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan at the occasion of the reconciliation that took place between the sons of the two villages Ain Arab and El Mari in Hasbaya District after the personal dispute that happened between them, on April 21, 2012.

 His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan underlined the fraternal reconciliation that took place today place between the inhabitants of Beit Arab and El Mari villages after the personal dispute that happened last week between them. The Sheikh Hassan praised the wisdom of the inhabitants of the two villages and their insistence on the acceleration of the total termination of this dispute to prevent any slipping toward a dissension that only serves the goals and objectives of the Israeli enemy that is some meters far away from the two resisting villages on the borders of the occupied Palestine.

His Eminence the Sheikh Akl saluted the efforts of the benefactors among the political, religious and military chiefs, as well as the security forces who have worked hard since the dispute happened, to prevent the aggravation of the situation and limit its repercussions to the personal level, emphasizing that the Lebanese should not be worried if they preserve their union, coexistence, respect of others and solidarity as well as their union around their national institutions, their respect for the constitution, the law and the jurisdiction and at first and last raising the voice of wisdom and mind.

His Eminence had made a follow-up on the last attempts of the virtuous and sincere Sheikhs, as well as the Mufti of Hasbaya and Marjayoun with political figures, and which succeeded in tearing out the roots of dissension and achieving the reconciliation. He also insisted on the union of the Islamic rank that preserves the national union, mentioning that the dispute is an accidental affair, while the charity anchored between the sons of the region remains steady.
