Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds, peace and blessings of Allah upon the noblest of the Prophets and Messengers 

Peace, Mercy and Blessings of Allah be upon you,

His Excellency the President of the Republic represented by your Excellency the President of the Cabinet, your Excellency the President of the Parliament, your Eminence the Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, the representatives of Excellences and Eminences, your Eminence the President of the Supreme Council, your Excellences and Eminences. 

Dear Sirs,

Praise be to Allah who made this virtuous month a motive to feel the belief and to be closer to the Merciful. May these days be blessed by the noble mercy that his Almighty granted to His servants. Thus, He taught His messenger what he did not know, and God's grace to him was great when Gabriel - Peace upon him by the truth, has put in his heart, in God’s willing, by the right path, the sermon and the Koran, where his Almighty said: (And this is a blessed book (the Quran) which we have sent down, so follow it and fear Allah (i.e do not disobey His orders), that you may receive mercy (I.e be saved from the torment of Hell) {The Cattle 155} (True are the words of God). 

His Almighty wanted the sites of Ramadan journey to be for the good of all people in the world by piety, for their dignity by obedience, and for their great victory by the truth and avoidance of the wrong. 

Respectful Sirs, as usual, we unite every year thanks to his Almighty with this honorable group of national personalities for the commemoration of the month of happiness and good. The blessing shades us in your House, the House of the Unitarian Community, those Unitarians who fight in order to rise to the scale of significance and stick to God's words with their hearts. Your House that has become more diligent in your presence today, its voice will remain, in God’s willing, calling for harmony, union and agreement spirit, following the example of the ancestors principles and inspired from history lessons, which, if we don't read with a shrewd mind and a clear perspicacity, we will lose our capacity to preserve the State and the entity of Lebanon. 

What would this holy Ramadan be if it does not shed the rays of its light on the hearts and eyes? The grace of piety is what drove the soul towards the wide ways of the grace and wisdom of God. This is nothing but an invitation to observe the state of men in the blessings of the fasting and the purity of the intentions to head for the satisfaction and obedience of God. 

There are moments in history that force every responsible assuming a responsibility, to undertake historic steps. In fact, every time the Lebanese get over a dilemma, we find ourselves in front of an incident that constitutes a danger on the future and imposes new national challenges due to the present political divisions and this requires continuous efforts to open the horizons of agreement and solutions, fearing to fall in the vicious circle of chaos and dissensions. 

All the Lebanese are invited to consolidate their attachment to their democratic system under the shade of which they would be able to solve their political conflicts. They are also invited not to destroy the form of the national sharing consolidated by the Taef agreement which terms application shall be pursued. 

The head of the State and the sincere persons constitute the essence of the common good by sticking to the message of freedom and dialogue. On the other side, the spiritual summits, starting from the Islamic summit at your House on November 28, 2006 and arriving to the spiritual summit in Bkerki, are sticking to the Lebanese form, the principles of entity, the culture of dialogue, the arbitration of constitutional institutions, the adhesion to belief values … knowing that we agree that every citizen should support the army and the resistance in order to defend Lebanon against any Israeli attack that might hit us. All these are the principles that express our aspirations towards a stable and prosperous country. 

Respectful audience,

In this virtuous month, we recall the words of his Almighty the Creator:  “And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allah (i.e this Quran), and be not divided among yourselves”. We address our sincere invitation to all the Lebanese leaders, including politicians, religious Chiefs and all people charged with public affairs, so that they strive in this difficult period for Lebanon and the region to immunize our national union, to strengthen the Islamic harmony and the Islamo-Christian coexistence, to think with reason, to assume the important national responsibility so that Lebanon remains the pattern that we seek in order to show the real image of the peaceful coexistence between confessions and religions, as well as the honest junction between the Lebanese whatever their beliefs and their convictions were. 

In this context, we have to warn about dangers of foreign interventions that, if they had valorized the freedom of people, we would not have to put up with the implantation of a racist entity in our Arab region, and it is a plant that has given and still gives the fruits of the bad. 

In these blessed days when God offered a gift to the world, the Holy Koran, we repeat the words of his Almighty: “If you reign between men, reign with equity”. In fact, justice and equity should reign. The good is the spirit that we all sing in our souls. In order to make justice become the truth we are looking for, we should be based in its provisions on sincerity at first and at last, and no disorder should intervene in its passages. God's Messenger (God’s blessing and peace be upon him) said: There are three judges, two of them in the fire and one in the paradise. (A man who knew the truth and applied it, then he is in the paradise; a man who applied it on others with ignorance and he is in the fire; and a man who knew the truth and applied it in contrary, thus he is in the fire). 

From our religious and official position in the Druze Unitarian Community, we renew in this blessed month our attachment to the principles and values of the Islam, and we repeat that the Druze Unitarians, whatever the situation in Lebanon was, always support the cases of their country and are not planners of political projects or quarrels seekers with anyone. All what we look for in this world is to live with freedom, honor, dignity, tranquility and equality. This is nothing but the path towards the beyond which we ask God to make for us and you, full of rewards and happiness. 

The events and changes that our Arab world is facing nowadays require to deal with them with discernment and consciousness at all levels, because we wish the good and the glory to the neighboring Arab countries, at their head Syria, and we ask his Almighty to release Syria from the crisis it is going through today, with power and immunization, and which might affect its situation as well as Lebanon which is linked to it by historic ties and relations of fraternity, cooperation and solidarity between both people and countries. 

In addition, the Palestinian case is going through a difficult period concerning the establishment of a Palestinian State and the consolidation of the legal rights. This will be achieved only by the total Palestinian union and a real and clear Arab support that puts an end to the morgue and tyranny of the Israeli enemy. 

Respectful Eminences, with the blessing of this holy month, we ask his Almighty to implant in the soul of all men the spirit of cooperation, sincerity and fraternity, and to inspire them towards the higher degrees of sacrifice and resentment of the grace of good, so that they are driven, thanks to Him, His mercy and His help, to the goodness of men, which makes it easy for them to accomplish the mission of preserving this country and being classified at the first degree of glory and prosperity. We also ask his Almighty to open the path for you to ensure the positive and fruitful projects in the fields of development, security, national dignity and social affluence to the sons of this dear country. He is the Omniscient and the Listener. Happy Feasting to all.
