In the name of the almighty  

His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian community Sheikh Naim Hassan and the Confessional Council Board of Directors issued the following declaration: 

The Unitarian Druze community has always preserved the dignities, human and religious morals. Their ethics and chivalry refuse to attack dignities and sanctities, especially the image of the veiled women believers mentioned in the recommendation of God’s Messenger (Peace and blessings upon him) by calling to protect and preserve them from any harm considering all what is contradictory as a mortal sin.  

In this field we confirm today our absolute and disapproving refusal, our regret and condemnation of all what is intended to provoke any sensitivity or attack the dignity and the privacy of any religious belief or other. For this reason we condemn any declaration issued in any way and from any position it came which content harms the principles and values of the Unitarian druze community before any other community.  

We repeat our frequent calls that incite to be armed with dialogue ethics and to use the language which calls for the respect of the spokesman, moving away from impertinence towards believers’ feelings, preventing the mix of political mockery with the cheap access to what provokes the anger of those who are attached to their moral behaviors and characteristics, the most important being enjoining Al Ma’ruf and forbidding Al Munkar, which will lead to more tension and will raise trouble factors.  

In this day we press the hands of the wise and reasonable men of al the Islamic confessions to be on the same side in front of whoever attacks the traditions, customs, usages, symbols and principles of the Islamic religion. We also call not to allow the transfer of the traces of any impetuous, false and refused declarations, leading the servant to an odious inadvertence, to be reflected in the street in a way that cannot be remedied later. 

We ask God to Whom be ascribed all perfection and majesty to inspire the grace of reason and providence to the frivolous, He is an All Hearer Respondent.
