In the name of God the Most merciful the Most Gracious
Praise be to God Lord of the Worlds, prayer and peace be upon the master of messengers, his family and his companions.

The crescent of a blessed month during which “the Koran was revealed” (Power 1) “A guidance unto those who ward off” (The Cow 2), appears “On a blessed night” (Smoke 3) where the Almighty revealed to his prophet “the scripture and wisdom” (Women 113) and taught him what he ignores. The grace that God granted him was great as it is mentioned in the holy verse, it’s a grace that prevailed on creation and included the whole humanity as the Great and Almighty God said “Now hath come unto you light from Allah and a plain scripture * whereby Allah guideth him who seeketh his good pleasure unto paths of peace” (The table spread 15-16). The noblest spirit peace is the tranquility that gets light from the One and Only, so it finds the right way and seek guidance given the good nature of Monotheism, so it will achieve its purpose in the existence being the humanity with its highest civilized perfection.

Dear brothers,

It was said in His Holy Book “And whosoever of you is present, let him fast the month” (The Cow 185) the fasting is to stop eating and drinking. It is an act of thanks, satisfaction and gratitude through intention, initiative and good behavior.

There are signs also for the days of the blessed month that the believer must see and appear before the Almighty God’s aims with repentance and forgiveness the way to be related to meaning facts that have to incite the spirit to purification as well as to be endowed with noble virtues and good ethics through which humans rise up to the level of perfection as much as he can. If the intention of man is good in this way, and the will and resolution helped him rising in his acts and attitude, he will be elevated then with his morals above egoism and arrogance, he will be abstained in his heart from fancy and fanaticism, using his thoughts for good and to serve his community to please God. He made efforts to be united with truth and homogeneous with the contents of high values, achieving the honesty beauty and the merit by itself in order to become the yeast of good in his community and his country. He will realize then the extreme bliss that he enjoys through the happiness granted by God, by recognizing his generosity purposes, feeling his grace and favors blessings that illuminate the minds, revive the hearts and Man will be supported by God’s help as the Almighty said “Verily Allah Helpeth one who helpeth Him. Allah is strong, Almighty” (Pilgrimage 40).

Brothers,      

Let us have resolution, in the obedience journey, to take the initiative to reform the situation by looking around us and by contributing in what serves people. It is worthier for believers to realize the importance of the social dimension being an example for good and a pattern to achieve solidarity and cooperation in the society. Therefore, everyone is invited to rise in a way to achieve progress in our situation to a most efficient and better level. Let us gather around our institutions in order to contribute in pushing the growth progress forward. Let us move away from venial faults towards great achievements that have to enhance the confidence and implant the harmonized team work concepts. The dispersion is among the signs of failure, whereas solidarity and unity are definitely the most stable steps towards success and achievement of people’s good. That is what satisfies the Great and Almighty God, so He will grant us grace, success and blessings.

The good work raise up our spirit. The will must be renewed in order to establish a relation between the truth necessities and good preferences, and to proceed with intention to what achieves union, word unity, and endowment with praised virtues as a way to take the soul exit from its individual character and its tendencies to its limited interests. The nations live and rise only through its children unity, their harmonized will, their mutual efforts, and unified endeavors for their good as well as for their country and community good.

Dear Lebanese people,

Let us pray God to lead our minds and hearts towards the goodness and safety of our country, to inspire its leaders and grant them the position wisdom through which the national unity is enhanced, the sedition factors collapse and the enemies’ plots fall. Lebanon is passing through a delicate and sensitive period of its history that requires the combination of political efforts to get it out of its dilemma. It also requires to be upon venial faults and to assume national responsibilities, in a way that serves the future of this country and the desire of all the Lebanese to live in dignity, safety and tranquility.

The last political evolution whether the confrontations of Adaysse town where

 the Lebanese army defied death as usual defending the homeland, or the

 circumstances related to the international court where all the Lebanese agree on the necessity to discover the truth, and that it should not be the victim of the nations game and the international interests. These evolutions necessitate the vigilance and alert of the Lebanese in order to protect the national unity, the internal stability and the civil peace. The collaboration of all the political parties in reproducing a quiet atmosphere and a responsible dialogue should progressively lead to pressures release as well as to the establishment of a new phase allowing the government to solve the citizens’ problems and worries. If the Lebanese were united with their army and resistance, they can stand firmly against all the storms. This unity is a national necessity so the State will proceed in the right way, strong through its sons’ union, precious through its brothers’ unity, so and well fortified through its legitimacy in the middle of nations. We are asking the Almighty God in this blessed month to keep our country strong, valuable and invincible, to fortify our heart for the truth, to grant us success in these blessed days to satisfy him, as well as to grant our sons blessings and prosperity, He the hearer responsive.
