Praise be to God of the worlds, peace and prayers be upon the Master of Messengers, his pure family and companions and God’s good followers.

We salute all our brothers, beloved and family from the bottom of heart, we welcome you warmly in your home Lebanon, between your brothers the Unitarian and Irfan people, you are the people of survival and perseverance in difficult times where you endure between loyalty to history path, and the duty of providing decent living, you are in an interval between a hope set on the United Nations, and a reality shedding tears and bleeding on a national and Arab issue.

Our First Druze Emigration conference in Lebanon acquires an exceptional importance; it makes a global occasion to join the sons of the Druze Unitarian confession in Lebanon and abroad in order to interact, communicate and unify the vision concerning national, Arab and international issues as well as the affairs and the worries of the Maaroufite community.

However, this conference acquires a double importance through the participation of our families and brothers from occupied Palestine in its activities. It is a precedent first of its kind, which consecrates the political communication movement launched by Mr. Walid Joumblatt since years in the meetings of Amamn, Cyprus, Turkey and others, falling in the frame of consolidating the identity of the community, the Arab and national identity which refuses to surrender to the Israeli occupation, and is attached to its historical and natural position through refusing the compulsory military service and many other procedures that the occupation authorities want to impose by force on the Unitarian Druze.

This important and exceptional participation of occupied Palestine has its meaning and symbolism because it will form a basis to the future period of meeting, cooperation and common struggle to achieve the Palestinian right through the establishment of a free and independent state which capital is Jerusalem and through insisting on all the other legal Palestinian national rights.

The participation of the emigrants Druze delegations is a very important occasion to strengthen the communication channels and the interaction between the residents and the emigrants and to open the door of debate concerning the titles that interest the nation and the Unitarian Druze Confession, at the end of which final recommendations will be issued and will be subject to follow-up and execution in a way that serves the public interest, the interest of the nation, and of the Druze community. 

The Unitarian Druze confession was at all the important historical stages on the side of the truth in confronting the untruth, on the side of freedom in confronting the mandate and the occupation, and on the side of the resistance in confronting the seizure of the land in occupied Palestine, Golan, Lebanon and all other places.

The Unitarian Druze Community will remain with the support of the Almighty in its resistant Arab position, and will stay at the head of the powers that refuse oppression and submission, and raise the head to repel the aggression, to resist and confront.
