Our beloved relatives, brothers and sons in Argentina

We salute you from Lebanon, your Nation
In the mid of the sixties one of our immigrant sons who immigrated to Argentina in the beginning of the last century visited me and he spoke to me about that country and about the resources that it enjoys. He also told me how much the immigrant was suffering from traveling. What is certain is that Argentina was among the first countries to which our sons immigrated.
This immigration moved to other countries since approximately fifty years and the communication between us decreased. Here are we today standing in front of you through the immigration committee president Mr. Kamil Saryeddine and the members of the honorable committee after the establishment of the Druze confessional council in its new form through the continuous efforts of the Great National Leader Mr. Walid Beik Joumblatt.
We have the pleasure to speak to you brothers and sons, and you are an honorable part of the home country and of the monotheist Druze confession to which we are proud to belong, and we praise Him he the Almighty for the heritage, history, principles and values that we are bearing since hundreds of years. Bani Maarouf had many glorious and dignified attitudes, as well as brilliant stages in their nation full of courage, honesty and pride; as well their Sheikhs, men and women had pages full of piety, charitable actions and generosity.

Dear relatives and beloved,
      Your absence from your homeland shall not mean absence from belonging and from Maarouf values; it’s a physical, residential and work absence, but not absence in mind, heart and identity, for this reason our hope is that your hearts will remain full of love towards parents and nation, and that your ideas will remain attached to the monotheism and heritage, as long as you carry with you the Lebanese features, in the struggle, opening and pioneering, and thus you will represent the most magnificent picture of the Lebanese ambitious and adventurous person.
Dear immigrants,
Our message to you is that you will be always an example in work, seriousness, love and sacrifice, to be loyal to the land on which you live and feed from its water and fruits, but also you must remember that your Arab, Lebanese and Maarouf roots are firmly settled in your country, and you must preserve them by your faith, your social cooperation, energy and vitality, by your permanent communication with your parents as well as with the issues of your nation of which you are part, and which is a part of your interests and concerns, by being, as your ancestors and fathers a symbol of sincerity, honesty, virtues and favors, by not forgetting that your confession needs you and needs your fervor, as well as your country that you can’t abandon no matter how long distances are or life developed. Your unity, sincere cooperation and impartiality are the basis of your success.

Beloved monotheists Druze, Bani Maarouf,
The Druze sheikhdom and your brothers in the confessional council of Druze monotheist confession, are looking for a solid relation with all the people of the Druze community in Argentina, and they wish to communicate, cooperate and work with you for the rise of our institutions and society, for the strengthening of the elements of our presence in the nation and abroad. These days the communication means developed, and great efforts are necessary to compensate the interruption of communication in the past but more people are determined more there is resolution. The resolution is yours first and we will try with His assistance to help as much as possible.

The representative of the Druze sheikhdom must communicate with us, visit us, obtain a new approval from us, and follow his work as well as his instructions through us; while the remaining issues will be left to the immigration committee who is visiting you today.
