Praised be the Lord for His care and grace, Peace and Blessing be on the last prophet; his chaste household and virtuous companion until the day of Resurrection

Dear brothers and sisters of the Mouwahidoun sect, we shall make benefit of the blessings of Holy Ramadan month, {this holy month when the Prophet received revelations from God to preach people and guide them on the right paths and toward the Holly Quran}. True religion was always there for the graces God gave us, such that souls seek enlightenment from it and great minds acquire decent acts and morals. Therefore, man became free of sins, ignorance and desires; and he instead had the doors of benevolence, love and right open in front of him. These decent values were mentioned in God’s holy words the Holy Qura’an {O mankind! there hath come to you a direction from your Lord and a healing for the (diseases) in your hearts, and for those who believe, a guidance and a Mercy. Say: "In the bounty of Allah. And in His Mercy, in that let them rejoice": that is better than the (wealth) they hoard.} (Yunus-Jonah 57-58).

Dear Brothers

Fasting and the methods of applying it have decent objectives, and the Mouwahidoun Druze ought to know the true meaning after achieving such goal reaching the noble and moral ends. Soul fasting during this Holy month does not only aim at feeling hunger by modesty, reverence and great efforts, but it also tends to purify souls from bad intents, and drag hearts away from lusts and mundane cravings thus leading to aberration and ambiguity. Each organ in the human body has its own fasting methods, and each idea and craving in his thought and heart has its proper punishment. So I do urge you my brothers and sisters to perform all what rightful acts need during this Holy month and take advantage of walking on the right track because right is right and everyone who follows this decent path shall live a decent and prosperous living in this life and the one to come.
