Praised be the Lord for His care and grace, Peace and Blessing be on the last prophet; his chaste household and virtuous companion

The Exalted said: {you shall remind believers because reminding does benefit them}

From more than fifty years, and during the opening ceremony of Al Arfan school, a great man said his word and presented his views and opinions thus paving the roads of “reform and the needed renaissance” as he precisely said.

He urged to benefit from the decent background and the real and pure resources, and he determined through his overall perspective some issues that shall be accomplished in order to move forward with our society towards prosperity and success.

He asked to expand the number of schools that follow an educational and cultural role, and he also noted the importance of spiritual education that introduces each one to the essence of humanity.

He also called to bring up the new generation on educational and moral values, hold symposiums and educational conferences, gather the oral history and write it down, enforce all these affairs reaching a pioneering aim to urge people of strong wills and wise thoughts to progress on the road of wisdom and benevolence.

Nowadays, and after all these years with their achievements and miseries, and in front of this great progress that changed this school into an institution, we shall say it was a pioneer in serving the society. His Eminence reminded what the martyr Kamal Bey Jomblat said decades ago, emphasizing on his reform vision in this context and repeating several suggestions that Jomblat called for. He noted that within social and educational service we shall move forward to lay down the foundations of such ideas and thus work hard to accomplish same.

We shall benefit from the morals our history presents and look forward to achieve future horizons through our great men’s experiences; and in such a case we shall not be bound to any limited or short objectives. Obstacles and challenges have accumulated so far and the question stays how will we be able to enforce trust in our values and history as Druze? How shall we determine our speeches that they incite all Druze immigrants? How shall we abandon the unstable decades in our institutions? That shall be through benefiting from bringing the sect up by the formation of a Confessional Council to the Mouwahidoun Druze sect and its committees, by the national leader Walid Bey Jomblat’s aware and wise recognition of all threats and challenges. Now, and through this support we are more aware of group and social work, and we are trying by His Blessings to remove all obstacles and gaps in all fields.

The Confessional Council in its present state calls for real wills to move forward strongly and determinately to regain Lebanon’s strength, particularly this special piece,  for all Druze, whether residents or immigrants.

We do urge to unify endeavors, purify intents, clarify hearts and incite minds under the morals of progress, education and law. Morals have always been there alongside with strong wills and united people in order to build a better future for our sons and grandsons.

Today, and in the third anniversary of the victory against the Israeli enemy, we do salute the martyrs of the resistance, army and Lebanese citizens who made this victory a reality. We praise that this memory be an opportunity to preserve national unity and pave the road in front of forming a new government as soon as possible.

As for you Walid Bey Jomblat, many of your previous stands were an issue of negotiation among many people, and it was then clear that you were right, and you will stay by God’s Blessing, because were are the ones who built Lebanon and presented sacrifices, and we are ready to cooperate with all parties because our identity has always been through patriotism. God’s blessings and peace be upon you.
