His Eminence Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community Sheikh Naim Hassan delivered a speech on the occasion of the commemoration of the birth of Prophet Mohammed: "When Almighty God sent His Last Messenger, the Prophet Mohammed all prayers and Blessings of Allah be upon Him with the guidance and religion of truth, He wanted the good of His nation, but the Almighty distinguished Him when He said in His Quran [You are the best nation produced for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah], therefore, any stoppage of thought, conscience and sincere inner self before the Prophet's memorial all prayers and blessings of Allah be Upon Him is inevitably evoked for the good of which He was sent in order to attain it, so that Allah may spread His light, through mercy to the universe. "
Sheikh Hassan said: "True Islam has taught us that courage in the face of all injustice derives its strength and stability from the sincerity of human values and moral principles and loyalty to the rules of justice and honor for The ends of the Sharia’ and its supreme goals ".
He added: "The benefits of the agreement remain in reaching the election of a president and the beginning of a new era, which we want it to be full of goodness for Lebanon and its people, and the right logic of things requires that this principal achievement opens the opportunity for the formation of government before the glorious festivals, which is the executive authority of the interests of the country and the advantages of the people, and the national shall not be transformed into prolonged interruption of the pillars of the management of power. We must not ignore the Lebanese's desire for a language of communication and a stable political situation in the midst of the dangers threatening the entire region in a world that is moving at an accelerated pace towards the unknown.
