His Eminence the Sheikh Akel of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan felicitated the Lebanese and the Muslims at the occasion of the Hijri New Year where he stated in his letter the following: “we supplicate God, Glory be to him, to bless us with days full of goodness where the ongoing efforts in our country reach happy ending, result in electing a president of the Republic and open the door to a saint constitutional and political life in a way that works on resolving the pending files in the field of economy, life and living issues. Those are the burden that rests on the citizen in his daily life and he badly needs immediate solutions.”

He added: “If the state’s constituents are in a significant and distressful decline and the legislative, executive as well as administrative institutions are in dangerous disability, we hang our breezes of hope on the wisdom of political leadership, who know the decisiveness of this stage that our region undergoes in the shades of conflicts, disintegration, murder, destruction, and displacement storms, to save Lebanon from all these challenges and threats with the help of all the colors of the Lebanese spectrum. Lebanon rise only with all his citizens, the absolute country will stay for all of them.
