His Eminence Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan has strongly condemned the bombing that hit the area of ​​Verdun in Beirut, stressing that the banking sector is considered as one of the main pillars keeping the essentials of the country. He added that facing the threats that hit our national life in various fields, remains in fortifying the internal situation and promoting the understanding between the various components of the country in order to prevent all of those who abuse the security of the Lebanese people of increasing the crises at different levels.

His Eminence denounced any attempt to disturb civil peace, internal security and safety of citizens; as it only serves the country's enemies. His Eminence the Sheikh Hassan has also called to wrap all political forces around the institutions and sectors of the state to strengthen national unity and to support the army and the security forces in order to establish security and stability at all levels.
