The Word of His Eminence Sheikh Akl the Sheikh Naim Hassan on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan 2016

His Eminence Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan congratulated on the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan calling all the political forces involved in obtaining some supposed solutions to the complexities of developments happening on the national area to take the initiative and provide the nation's interest over all other interests. He also called to expedite the election of the President of the Republic, which is the key to reorganize the constitutional life of the country, and to reproduce the institutions on the base of a right democratic representative that requires a fair election based on modern law which allows the representation of all the parties’ equality. However, in order to maintain these necessary steps, the affairs of the people and life concerns require the determined work of the government with a legislative follow-up of the Chamber of Deputies, in order to stop the current deterioration on the economic, social and living levels, keeping away all kinds of harassment affecting all discussed issue.

And starting from our duties towards the nation's issues, His Eminence urged both Arab and Islamic states to initiate a real dialogue concerning the crises that evolve our region without forgetting the essential case of Palestine.
