     His Eminence Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan received at the House of the Druze community in Beirut a group of mourners who offered their condolences for the death of His Eminence Sheikh Bahjat Ghaith, most notably the Papal Nuncio Gabriel Katchea, the Bishop Boulos Matar representing the Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi, the Jaafari Mufti Premier Sheikh Ahmed Qabalan and the Sheikh Ali al-Hassani as the representative of Mr. Ali al-Sistani in Lebanon.

     His Eminence also received a number of phone calls of condolences notably from the Lebanese Mufti Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian,, the Vice President of Higher Islamic Shiite Council the Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan, the head of the Maronite General Council Sheikh Wadih Khazen, the Mufti of the Republic Sheikh Mohammad Rashid Qabbani, in addition to a number of condolences telegrams from the Sheikh Ziad Saheb, president of the Islamic Community; and Metropolitan Mikhael Abras, and the Chargé d’affaires of the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
