His Eminence Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan presented a tribute of respect and reverence to the Palestinian people and their steadfastness in the face of the Zionist enemy and its repressive practices and settlement projects.

His Eminence said in a statement on the commemoration of Nakba Day that the slogan "Justice for Palestine" is the central issue of the meaning of true justice in the contemporary world, mentioning that the most important cause of instability is the absence of justice, both in terms of lack of respect for human rights or the lack of applying the concepts of international law. They both are the key factors in the feeling of the people of a lack of credibility of the international in finding a solution to the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people.

His Eminence Sheikh Hassan called the Palestinian people to unite and transcendence above all forms of division and differences in the continuous struggle, which helps bringing the cause of Palestine to the interface regional and international concerns as conflicts have encumbered the Arab people. His Eminence also stressed on the right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state with Jerusalem its capital.
