His Eminence the Sheikh Akel of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan stressed in his statement on “the importance of neutralizing Lebanon, especially in these days, from all centers and disputes and not dragging it again into the burning conflicts of the region and avoid its repercussions. This is by strengthening the Arab identity of our nation and natural affiliation to the Arab consensus and to its Arab environment. His Eminence also mentioned the importance of maintaining strong fraternal relations with neighboring countries which provided a lot of efforts and supported our country during its adversity, especially Saudi Arabia that stretched their white hands to Lebanon and embraced the Lebanese people with respect and goodness”.

Furthermore, his Eminence stressed “that these relations with Saudi Arabia won’t be affected no matter how circumstances got intensified as the relations will remain as they were fraternal relations built on cooperation and support in order to face all challenges that may come through”.

His Eminence concluded by recalling “all Lebanese political parties without exceptions to remain aware, wise and rational in order to pass all the problems surrounding us and go through all the crises of paralysis and decline hitting our country economically, politically and socially to reach a new period in which all constitutional institutions stick together in order to start electing a new President of the Republic”.
