"Jerusalem is settled is the consciences and hearts of the believers," said Sheikh Akel Sheikh Naim Hassan, at the spiritual summit in Bkerki stressing that "the bully force, despite its dominance; it has no power over the heart of any sincere believer." He added that "Palestine is an Arab land and Jerusalem is its soul with all that it means in memory, history and the future." He said also that “Palestinian people have the right in their land, their holiness, their state noting that Jerusalem is the city of peace and not of war."
