His Eminence Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community Sheikh Naim Hassan made a phone call to the President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, congratulating him on the birth of Jesus Christ and New Year hoping that these holidays would carry more stability and progress for the country and its people, wishing that the new year would witness an effective start of the New Testament carrying with it the country into a better reality at various levels.

His Eminence has as well made a phone call for the Maronite Patriarch Mar Bechara Boutros al-Rahii, congratulating him and all Christians, and wishing that we get inspired, from the holidays, the meanings of love, tender and collaboration.
