His Eminence Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community Sheikh Naim Hassan received at the community house in Verdun-Beirut a delegation of the President of the Episcopal Commission for Christian Muslim, Bishop Issam Youhanna Darwish, and the president of the Association, "we meet for dialogue," Sheikh Hassan Sharifi; where the delegation has offered to His Eminence an invitation to participate in the “Christmas Dinner” under the patronage of Parliament Speaker Mr. Nabih Berri.

His Eminence also received a delegation of the Muslim scholars gathering that included Sheikh Mohammed Amr and Sheikh Ibrahim Baridi in the presence of the Sheikhdom Akl’s consultant the Sheikh Ghassan Al-Halabi; where they have discussed various local situations and Islamic Affairs; in addition to the required ways to work together to counter all attempts ruining the image of Islam, and to cooperate with all the competent authorities to confirm the tolerant identity for this true religion.
