His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan received at the House of the Community in Verdun – Beirut, the delegation of
Supreme Presidential Committee for Church Affairs in Palestine presided by the member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Hanna Omeira, Vice President of the delegation, General Director of the Palestinian National Fund, Dr. Ramzi Khoury, the Palestinian Ambassador in Lebanon, Ashraf Dabbour, the Palestinian Ambassador in the Vatican City, Issa Kassissieh, and the adviser of President Mahmoud Abbas, Ziad EL Bandak in the presence of the counselor of Akl sheikhdom Sheikh Ghassan Halabi. The delegation transferred the greeting of President Abbas who wished the best for Lebanon regarding the agreement, security, coexistence, reinforcement of the dialogue and the communication between all the Lebanese parties.
His Eminence discussed with the delegation the general developments of the Palestinian Case as well as the Palestinian file in Lebanon. The delegation offered to His Eminence a scale model of the Al-Aqsa Mosque made in the City of Jerusalem.
The delegation also expressed their appreciation to the honorable positions of His Eminence the Sheikh Hassan as well as the occasions and national unifying meetings held in Mokhtara.
Moreover, His Eminence received the General Director of the Parliament Mr. Nicolas Menassa where they have discussed about the general developments and affairs.
