His Eminence the Sheikh Akel of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan has received, at the Community House in Verdun- Beirut, the president of the Justice and Peace committee the Bishop Shukrallah Elhajj, who was delegated by the Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Mar Bechara Al Rai and accompanied by Sirs Melhem Khalaf and Fadi Al Gerges, where they invited the Sheikh Akel to attend the Prayer Conference for Peace on Tuesday September 20, 2016. In that occasion, His Eminence stressed on the importance of all members of the various communities uniting as one group to defend Lebanon’s stability, its civil peace and the safety and security of its citizens.
