His Eminence Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community, the Sheikh Naim Hassan, received at the Community House of Verdun in Beirut, a delegation from the municipality and the citizens of Ain Dara village headed by the president of the Municipality, Fouad Haidamous, and the Mayor Antoine Badr, in the presence of the officer of the Progressive Socialist Party Bassel Al Oud. The Delegation informed His Eminence about their refusal to establish a cement factory within the scope of their town, for it violates the environmental and health conditions.
Sheikh Hassan assured the delegation about his ultimate solidarity with the citizens and his advocacy to their demands.
