His Eminence Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan received a Danish Church Parliamentarian Delegation from Denmark, headed by Chairman of the churches of Denmark Andres Card and two members of the Danish parliament for the Liberal Party and the Socialist Democratic Party. He also received representatives of the Islamic Council, accompanied by Secretary General of the Arab Islamic-Christian dialogue Committee, the Father Riad Jarjoura; in the presence of President of the Arab Islamic-Christian dialogue Committee, the judge Abbas Halabi, and the Sheikhdom Akl’s Consultant, the Sheikh Ghassan El Halabi. During this meeting, they have discussed the topic of Christian-Muslim relations, consolidations and how to counter extremism.

On this regard, His Eminence the Sheikh stressed on the importance to work, at this critical stage, on purifying the spiritual relations between the various religions of all that disturb them, and He emphasized on the importance of activating the dialogue and the understanding, as well as working on building common values ​​to face the big challenges of extremism, violence, ignorance and poverty.
