His Eminence Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan received at the community house in Verdun, the Minister of Social Affairs Prof. Rashid Derbas and discussed the overall developments and general conditions.

During the meeting, His Eminence the Sheikh, stressed on the need to pay attention to social issues as a priority, especially the Lebanese citizens who are suffering from the living and the lifestyle pressures in the light of the substantial economic, security and political challenges, as well as the aggravation of refugees crisis and the absence of a common vision that gather different political components on an approach to turn this crisis into an opportunity. His Eminence also stressed on the importance of the work of all political forces to heal the rifts that have affected the structure of the country starting from filling the presidential vacancy and activating the work of all constitutional institutions to save the country from an unknown fate.
