His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan received at the House of the Community in Verdun – Beirut, the Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta in Lebanon, Charles Henry D’Aragon accompanied by a delegation of the Embassy staff, in the presence of Sheikh Sami Abdul Khaliq Akram and  two members of the Social Committee in the confessional council Akram Arabi and Suheir Abu Farraj, in which they discussed some ways of cooperation and the overall general conditions.

In this regard, The Sheikh Hassan has stressed on the importance of the great humanitarian work carried out by the Sovereign Order of Malta in the various regions, sectors and countries, especially at this difficult time where human values are absent and replaced by manifestations of violence, extremism and injustice. His Eminence called to push forward the joint cooperation in promoting the principles of good and work for human development, verifying the existence of humans and consolidating social stability in the face of all the risks that may be caused due to strange phenomena.

At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador D’Aragon pointed out the efforts  His Eminence Sheikh Naim Hassan is handling  in order to develop ways of cooperation and services in Lebanon, stressing that researches have started concerning  the opening of a medical center in the institution of the Late Sheikh Abu Hassan Aref Halawi in Barouk and ways of cooperation in a broaden and more comprehensive ways, highlighting that the  Embassy of Malta, after working with several health institutions, has become aware of all the needs and requirements and will cooperate to satisfy them on all Lebanese territories including everyone and without distinction in order to reduce the suffering.
