His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community the Sheikh Naim Hassan received at the House of the Community in Verdun – Beirut a delegation from the Civil Defense volunteers who had offered him their demands in their file of their tenure.

His Eminence has strengthened to the delegation his high appreciation for the sacrifices of the great and vital role played by the civil defense over the homeland space, pointing out that the tenure of eligible volunteers is one of the most basic rights; praising the government’s attempt to acknowledge this right, especially since the law related to this subject was acknowledge in the Parliament. At the same time, the Sheikh Hassan stressed that this placement cannot be invoked to increase the tax burden on citizens who suffer in the light of all the difficult conditions experienced by the country, calling on the government to searching for what supports the state’s finance by adjusting wastage and corruption and to not to work in a way that increase the burden to people.
