His Eminence, Sheikh Al-Aql, Sheikh Naeem Hasan, met the head of the Democratic Gathering, MP Taymour Jumblat


His Eminence, Sheikh Aql of the Druze monotheistic faith (Tawheed), Sheikh Naeem Hasan received at the Community House in Beirut, the head of the Democratic Gathering, MP Taymour Jumblat accompanied by the meeting member MP Faisal Sayegh and the advisor Husam Harb, in the presence of the sectarian judge Sheikh Gandhi Makarem. The meeting was an occasion to present various developments and advancements.
His Eminence wished that the coming government would see the light soon, calling on the concerned officials to stop the cycle of obstruction that is leading Lebanon towards further decimation, stressing at the same time the importance of the political and legislative work carried out by the Democratic Meeting Bloc, headed by MP Jumblat, in addition to the great social work in these difficult conditions.
During the meeting, MP Jumblat stressed the importance of solidarity at this stage in which people face great difficulties at all levels, stressing the importance of the role of the sectarian council and its committees in social and cooperative work to help within the capabilities to relieve of the heavy burdens as much as possible.
MP Jumblat was surprised by the unconstitutional tales that impede the process of forming the government. He warned against persisting in this destructive approach that delays the launch of real reforms after four months have been lost since the tragic explosion of the port, stressing that the main value of any future government is in the extent of its productivity and its fulfillment of the aspirations of all the Lebanese people, which is away from the bids about the rights of this or that sect, which encapsulate desires for quotas only, while attention and concern must be focused on the rights of every Lebanese citizen who is suffering regardless of their affiliation.
