His Eminence Sheikh Aql of the Druze monotheistic faith (Tawhid), Sheikh Naeem Hasan received at the Community HouseHouse in Beirut the General Secretary of the “Farah Social Foundation” Dr. WeamBou Hamdan. Dr. Bou Hamdan was assigned by the President of the Progressive Socialist Party Mr. Walid Jumblatt, to discuss matters of relief and social work affairs in light of the grueling living conditions, as well as cooperation and coordination in collaborative responsibility between the authorities and societies working in support of families in need.
It was an occasion for his Eminence SheikhNaeem Hasan to emphasize the need to unite the efforts to serve society by all those who are keen on the public situation. He stressed that the primary role remains on the government that has a duty of providing social welfare, and at the same time the duty to initiate the reform programs capable of getting the country out of the current serious economic and financial deterioration, which demands perseverance and that no liability should ever be evaded.
Furthermore, his Eminence held a meeting with the head of the Social Committee in the Sectarian Council, Professor GhadaJumblatt, and members of the committee.
