While we hope that the new year brings Lebanon and the Lebanese with a glimmer of hope for the establishment of a just and capable state that senses the people's concerns and issues, it seems that there are some people who do not estimate the weight of the considerations of sectarian balance nor the covenant laws. They do not only leap over the provisions of the constitution and bypass permissions, but also they strive to strike the natural representation of an essential founding component of the country.
This approach to the government situation is leading us to warn of the persistent injustice by those in charge of managing the government formation file against the Druze monotheistic faith (Tawhid). And as long as each sect has its rights that you uphold with all your powers and strive to obtain it in its name, publicly or in personal interests, let it be known to everyone that we will only be satisfied with our fair rights as the Druze sect (Tawhid), in terms of number and type, and to the fullest extent in this political system which is, until now, based on a sectarian representation according to the Lebaneseconstitution.
