His Eminence Sheikh Aql of the Druze monotheistic faith (Tawhid), Sheikh Naeem Hasan met at theC Community House in Beirut a Druze judicial delegation headed by the President of the Druze Supreme Court of Appeal Judge Faisal Nasser al-Din, the court advisers Judges Salim Al-Aissami and Faisal Hamdan, as well as Judge of the Matn Court Sheikh GhandiMakarim. His Eminence was briefed by the delegation on the Druze judiciary situation and issues related to the work of the courts were discussed.
His Eminence also met Judge Abbas Al-Halabi on his position as president of the Culture Committee in the Executive Council of the "UNESCO" during the course of the organization's general conference, during whichJudge Al-Halabi explained to his Eminence the importance of the conference in its 40th session and its discussions related to matters of national concerns, the Islamic-Christian dialogue in Lebanon, and the history of the role played by Judge Al-Halabi in this context.
His Eminencethen congratulated Judge Al-Halabi for his new position, wishing "success for the tasks and role of the committee in documenting relations between all those concerned with culture, science and knowledge, and promoting dialogue and convergence at various levels."
Afterwards, his Eminence presented at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the sectarian council issues and general national matters, in light of developments and advancementswhich are taking place in Lebanon on the economic, social and financial levels, as well as the subject of the government formation.
