His Eminence the Druze Sheikh of the Druze monotheistic faith (Tawhid), Sheikh Naeem Hasan, addressed the family of the martyr of free and dignified Lebanon, martyr Alaa Abu Fakhr, expressing his deepest sympathy and condolences.
"We hope that the martyrdom of the late Alaa Abu Fakhr will be vigilant for urgent steps to tackle the crisis immediately in order to preserve a united Lebanon and a just constitutional state. We fear what could happen in these remarkable days, and the alarming lack of a sense of responsibility that amounts to the cause of the fate of a nation. We ask the Army Command to uncover the circumstances of this painful incident and take the necessary measures. The judiciary must be controlled by the rule of law and the spirit of justice above all other considerations. From this basis, we ask God Almighty to protect us with the blessings of His wisdom, and to inspire everyone to the means of patience and reason and protect and safeguard our homeland Lebanon against all otherwise. It is precisely delicate circumstances, which require everyone, especially those in positions of decision, to prevail over themselves towards a higher level of responsibility and to preserve the integrity of the nation and the dignity of all of its citizens without exceptions. ”
