His Eminence Sheikh Aql of the Druze monotheistic faith (Tawhid) Sheikh Naeem Hassan expressed his sincere appreciation for the struggle of the Palestinian people for their legitimate rights, which is represented by the establishment of an independent state on the Palestinian land with Jerusalem as its capital, and the return of all Palestinian refugees, as he emphasized on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the Palestinian tragedy (The Nakba of Palestine). He added that these rights will never fade no matter how long the Israeli occupation persists.
He called upon the Palestinian people on their different affiliations and orientations to work together against what could be planned to renounce their cause under false headlines about such plans and deals that could only result in the confiscation of their land, the displacement of their people and the breaking of their will.
His Eminence hence stressed the need to fortify and support the Palestinian position by adopting one unified Arab-Islamic decision, while expressing profound concern over the tension and boiling conditions that the Arab and Muslim world is witnessing, and he strongly condemned the absolutely rejected the attacks targeting oil pipelines in Saudi Arabia and tankers off the coast of the United Arab Emirates, wishing these two countries stability, safety and peace.
His Eminence Sheikh emphasized the importance of unity in order to prevent the destabilization of the region and to make efforts to stand up against the conspiracies that are being waged against our Arab and Islamic nation and its citizens, which threaten everyone without exception.
