His Eminence Sheikh Akel of the Druze Unitarian Community Sheikh Naim Hassan, accompanied by a large delegation of the members of the administrative council, the public body and the confessional council administration, visited a number of villages in Rachaya where they have checked work and reparation proceedings executed by the trusts committee at the shrine of Lady Chaawana at West Bekaa.
The delegation visited Dahr El Ahmar in Rachaya district, where they have called for a meeting at the place of the member of the confessional council Sheikh Assaad Serhal where they have attended a honored lunch for Sheikh Akel and the accompanied delegation in the presence of the member of the Democratic Gathering, deputy Wael Abou Faour, General Director of the Cooperative Government Employees, two internal agents of the Progressive Party at South of Bekaa and Hasbaya, judges, sheikhs, mayors, clerks, cultural, social, and political figures.
His Eminence Sheikh Akel Sheikh Naim Hassan stressed that people have sacrificed themselves for their country for dignity and patriotism; greeting Deputy Walid Jumblatt who represents a national symbol for the security of the national and Islamic unity and coexistence. He also praised the role of Deputy Wael Abou Faour, emphasizing the concern of Confessional Council in providing services without exception, and has thanked Sheikh Serhal for his host.
