His Eminence Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community Sheikh Naim Hassan has received a phone call from the President of the Republic General Michel Aoun during which they have discussed the current situations of the country, after the President Saad Hariri has announced his resignation from the presidency of the Republic.
His Eminence has stressed on “the importance of dealing with the highest degree of awareness, reasonableness and sagaciousness, the prioritization of national interest and the spirit of cooperation in order to move the country out of the crisis; while ensuring the participation of all sects of the Lebanese people and their principle components which strengthen the governmental organizations in the framework of the constitution and stability.”
