Statement of His Eminence Sheikh Akl Naim Hassan on the Anniversary of the Assassination of Prime Minister Rafik Hariri: The Martyred President Passed Away for the Sake of the Sovereignty and Independence of Lebanon, on February 14, 2017
His Eminence Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community Sheikh Naim Hassan recalled the Martyred Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, who passed away for the sake of Lebanon, its sovereignty and independence; as he is considered as a symbol of moderation and openness. On the occasion of the twelfth anniversary of the assassination of Prime Minister Rafik Hariri; Sheikh Hassan addressed all the Lebanese in their different orientations, calling for adherence to the values of tolerance, dialogue, convergence, solidarity and patriotism that the late martyr has spent his life believing in and working for.
