His Eminence, Sheikh Aql of the Druze community, Sheikh Naeem Hasan made a call to the Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Beshara Boutros al-Ra’i, during which he expressed his disapproval of the traitorous speech against him and his Eminence’s absolute rejection of exposure to national figures, which only serve to insistently feed what harms the national interest and coexistence.
During the call, emphasis was placed on the need to adhere to the sovereign national values of coexistence on which the idea of Lebanon is based, as well as diversity, avoiding conflicts and securing the necessary means for stability and prosperity that guarantee a decent and safe life for all Lebanese without exception.
It was also agreed to adhere to the spirit of solidarity during this extremely dangerous phase, as a rational and sound way for the salvation of Lebanon and its people.
