His Eminence, Sheikh Aql of the Druze monotheistic faith (Tawhid), Sheikh Naeem Hasan called on all officials and leaders to raise with the spirit of great national responsibility during these delicate stages the country is going through. He asked to intensify the efforts at the highest levels to preserve Lebanon and sustain its security and stability, especially in the circumstances which the capital Beirut is impacted by, which should remain a space for convergence and the citizen's right to peaceful expression."
His Eminence stressed in a statement on "the importance of the new government initiative in taking steps to address the files that lie ahead, the most important of which are the current economic and financial problems, by injecting life into the paralyzed economic cycle. Such move shall give hope to the Lebanese people about the concerns of their daily lives, starting with rebuilding the citizen's confidence in his state and protecting all government institutions."
On the other hand, his Eminence Sheikh Al-Aql made a phone call to his Eminence the Grand Mufti of the Republic, Sheikh Abd al-Latif Darian, during which the general national situation and developments on the Lebanese arena were discussed.
His Eminence received at the Community House - Verdun today, the media commissioner of the Progressive Socialist Party, Saleh Hudaifa, within which his Eminence congratulated Hudaifa on his new position, wishing him success and success.
