His Eminence, Sheikh Naeem Hasan toured Hasbaya and called for avoiding sectarianism

His Eminence Sheikh Aql of the Druze monotheistic faith (Tawhid), Sheikh Naeem Hasan, called on those who bear responsibility in our country to reject sectarian extremism and to avoid double standards in the concept of patriotism. He considered that with love, partnership and kindness, our unity and universal will, and our national doctrine we would preserve Lebanon and the just governance that will lead us to safety.
His Eminence's speech came during a spiritual and social tour of a number of villages and towns in Hasbaya region, during which he met with elderly, spiritual, social and civil figures at the stations he intended of the visit, including in the shrine of the Prophet Shuaib (p) in the town of Kfair. A large crowd of Sheikhs and spiritual and social figures, as well as a number of mayors and national security officials, and a number of members of the sectarian council received his Eminence during his visit. Sheikh Al Aql was accompanied by a delegation of Sheikhs from the western region, in addition to the Druze sectarian judge, Sheikh Gandhi Makarem, and Sheikhs from the advisory board and the confessional council.
After a welcome speech from the representative of the Maqam Committee, retired Brigadier General Ismail Hamdan, welcoming his Eminence as the first Sheikh Aql to visit the region after the formation of the new Maqam Committee, and his interest in supporting the development of the Maqam after its foundation ceremony supported by leader Walid Jumblatt. He signaled the preparation of the third phase of expansion and development.
Then His Eminence, Sheikh Naeem Hasan on the occasion announced,
“In the name of God the merciful,
Praise be to God Almighty, and peace and blessings be upon His prophet…
We in the Taim valley and in its vast sense of history of the Druze monotheistic faith (Tawhid) in the values of nobility, chivalry, pride and dignity. We meet these loving and benevolent faces from the villages and towns of the region that have pledged to God and the nation to endure, you have gone through many misfortunes, however you achieved victory by your faith and belonging and your solidity and responsibility.
We are at this blessed shrine in Kfair, united by the shrine of the Prophet Shoaib (p) with thanks to the efforts of the reconstruction committee, ask him for blessings with God Almighty for Him to grant us the sufficient capability to do what is required to serve our religion and our nation.
What we need today is to renew repentance by standing with our souls under the light of the obedient and acknowledged mind, and to seek the wisdom of His wisdom in order to strengthen the will and fortify it in good obedience, and to make an effort in consolidating the concern and determination of the matter, in order to improve our focus and see our state of affairs in the mirror of unification and wisdom.

What is needed most today is awareness to the greatest danger, which is the spread of chaos in the world and what it fuels in the soul like lust to the world and falling into the trap of desires. These include the lust for luxury, leadership, abundance, and ego. This is in addition to the resulting conflicts, competition, gossip and more of the reprehensible natures which we all know have one source. The most dangerous thing to do is to under estimate religion, which is a great danger that must be noticed to avoid its consequence. This is what the Prince Al Sayyed in such matters that lead to non-obedience, which in turn leads to God’s wrath and the lack of blessing of grace and what it represents and implies.
My brothers
It is the commandment of the religious figures to make the meaning of God’s dear book a mirror and a science, and we wouldn’t in any way be deceived by natures of good, but deception is the nature of stubbornness and anti-truth. It is with good nature and good intentions that man is fully aware, and as much as his sincerity and the level of his thinking, that man realizes his actual status. The monotheistic believer (Mowahed) is one who rushes to grasp things in good obedience, to turn back from every defect through hard work in refining the secrets of his heart to yield the good morals accepted in the eye of God with satisfaction and reward. Through treating matters with continuous efforts according to paths of virtue and its morally known doors, the greatest of which is honesty and the preservation of the brotherhood and the forefront of love.
We my brothers, especially the young people from our gracious monotheistic faith (Tawhid), to use good and benevolent words. Their insides are good, and their phenomena are literary, because without the balance between literature and reason in the hearts and chests, the dwelling of religion is negated and the deceived spirit absorbs none of it. It has been said in the Holy Education that the literature of religion comes before religion, which are virtues and morals.
My brothers
The prophet Shuaib (p) was sent by God to people who worshipped idols, who were adopting double standards and he said to them: "O people, worship God as your only God, and fulfill the balance and scale, and do not underestimate people’s belongingss, and do not spoil the earth after reforming it."
Hence, from here on the outskirts of occupied Palestine, we salute its people’s persistence and send them all the greetings. We say to some who are in power in our country to stay away from sectarian intolerance and from double standards in the concept of patriotism, and we repeat for everyone the words of the Almighty: "And hold fast to the rope of God because it’s with love and kindness, unity, united will and our national doctrine we safeguard Lebanon and just governance, which lead it to safety.
God exalted us from every inattention, and He prized our pursuit in every virtue, and helped us manage the whims of the souls and the fluctuations of the hearts through consistency to the good and what results to the obligation of the commands and avoidance of the prohibitions.
After that, Sheikh Hassan inspected the Maqam and listened to an explanation of the development projects. He continued his tour to a number of villages to conclude with a spiritual gathering in the respectful shrine of “Khalwat Al Bayyada” with the participation of hundreds of Sheikhs.
