His Eminence Sheikh Naeem Hasan visits Dar Al-Fatwa and the Supreme Shiite Islamic Council: "National unity is the only guarantee to repel any aggression"

His Eminence Sheikh Aqlof the Druze monotheistic faith (Tawhid), Sheikh Naeem Hasan visited today, Dar Al-Fatwa and the Supreme Shiite Islamic Council, and met with the Grand Mufti of the Republic of Lebanon Sheikh Abdul Latif Darian as well as the President of the Supreme Islamic Shiite Council Mufti Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan, and discussed general Islamic and national affairs as well as current national developments.
His Eminence’s visit to Dar Al-Fatwa was accompanied by a delegation including Druze Sectarian Judge Sheikh GhandhiMakarem, his Eminence’s Advisor Sheikh Ghassan Al-Halabi,Director of the institution Sheikh Ahmad Amin al-Kurdi, and the Director General of Islamic Waqf Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Anis Al-Arwadi.
After the meeting, Sheikh al-Aql stated, "Our visit today is a friendly, loving and appreciative visit to the figure of his Eminence the Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Latif Darian and to this pleasant House.After holding the extraordinary spiritual summit in the Druze Community House, we are keen with his Eminence and with the spiritual leaders to pursue the outcome of that summit for the good of our children and the good of the nation.We affirmed with his Eminence the preservation of communication and solidarity for the sake of Lebanon’s unity and the unity of its people, as well as our support to the state and the effort done by the prime minister to reject any danger that could result from the continuous Israeli aggression. We agreed with his Eminence to support the state and the efforts of his Excellency the prime minister concerned with addressing both economic and social issues, hoping for this call forresolution a comprehensive one that would cover all sectors and as well as unions, and wishing that the politicians would practice proper estimation of the national position in these delicate circumstances".
Shiite Council
His Eminence Sheikh Naeem Hasan then visited the Supreme Islamic Shiite Council at its headquarters in the airport road, accompanied by Judge Makarem, advisor Al-Halabi, the sectarian council member Dr. Talal Jaber, and the Director of the institution, in the presence of the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Islamic Shiite Council Sheikh Ali Al-Khatib, as well as Secretary General of the Council, Mr. NazihJammoul.
After the meeting, his Eminence Sheikh Al-Aql stated, "Our visit today to this pleasant house is to first check on the health of his Eminence Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan and to thank him for assigning a high delegation to participate in the Christian-Islamic summit that took place in the Community House of the Druze monotheistic faith (Tawhid); and secondly since Lebanon is under Israeli aggression which we condemn firmly, we believe with his Eminence that national unity remains the guarantee to repel any aggression, and that all political parties should work to maintain this unity".
He added, “We send our regards to Jerusalem, and we send our regards also to President Nabih Berri for his unifying role in resolving disputes and addressing national issues. There is no doubt that the economic and social issues are also pressuring us, and we count in this context on the government in allits institutions to tackle those in patience and justice, and to work towards re-establishing the lending of housing loans in order to move the natural wheel of the economic life in our country".
