His Eminence Sheikh Aql of the druze monotheistic faith (Tawhid), Sheikh Naeem Hasan welcomed in the Community House in Beirut a delegation from the Lebanese Society for Science and Research headed by Dr. Salah Eddin Selim Arqa Dan and Professor Hussein Hamadeh, who presented to his Eminence an invitation to the "First Conference for Human Sciences" held by the society on Friday the 22nd of August under the topic (The role of the foundation in education), which will be lectured by an elite group of academic professors from different Lebanese universities, with the presence of his Eminence’s adviser Sheikh Ghassan Al-Halabi.
The delegation expressed its appreciation to his Eminence for supporting scientific, humanitarian and historical activities under topics of interest to all Lebanese, especially at a time when the educational process is facing financial and systemic obstacles and the efforts of the State along the efforts of the civil society institutions are in need in order to bring Lebanon back to what was known for in terms of its educational level in elementary levels as well as at the level of the university. Arqa Dan then handed his Eminence a collection of his books and writings.
His Eminence also met the media figure Haitham Zuaiter, who presented to His Eminence a collection of his books on the Palestinian cause and specimen of the stories of media resistance, Haitham Zuaiter, the Palestinian struggle and resistance, and the resistance against the Israeli occupation and its agents. His Eminence praised the "great efforts of the author Zuaiter in documenting important facts of the history and struggles of the Palestinian people".
Among the visitors to the Community House was a delegation from the Druze Community League in Sydney, Australia, headed by Waleed Rabah, accompanied by Sheikh Muneer al-Hakim, his Eminence official representative in Sydney as well as Sheikh Baz Abdul Samad, and they displayed facts related to the community in Sydney from several aspects.
His Eminence also met with the official of the Druze Charitable Society in Valencia, Venezuela, Amin Al-Beaini, accompanied by the head of the expatriate committee in the sectorial council Jamal al-Jawhari Council. Al-Baini relayed to his Eminence a number of topics and issues related to the community at all levels.
