His Eminence Naeem Hassan visited Bkerki expressing condolences to Patriarch Sfeir: “for Lebanon to remain the homeland of reconciliation and coexistence as he desired”

His Eminence Sheikh-Aql of the Druze Monotheists Sheikh Naeem Hassan expressed his condolences in Bkerki on the death of Patriarch Nasrallah Sfeir to the Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Bshara Al-Ra'i. He headed a spiritual delegation that included the head of the Druze Court of Appeal, Judge Faisal Nasiruddin, judges of the Druze sect, And members of the Druze religious authority and sectarian council, and several of his Eminence’s consultants.
After expressing his condolences, His Eminence Sheikh Al Aql said: "The numerous pages of history remain the scene of the people of honor and privilege and of the great people who have given their homelands the most glorious services and promoted these to the best od aspirations, one of those was Patriarch Sfeir." We convey our feelings and condolences to the head of Bkerki on behalf of the spiritual body and the sectarian council. His Eminence also wished that Lebanon will remain the way Patriarch Sfeir wanted it, the homeland of love and kindness, tolerance, reconciliation and coexistence."
